My story

15 years ago, when my journey began, I didn't know anything about real estate other than my mom owned a home, but that wasn't enough. I had no plan or structure. I was living life with no net.

So I did a thing today! A thing that I NEVER EVER thought I’d be able to do. I knew I wanted to do it and NEEDED to do it but didn’t know where to start. In 2017 I was constantly seeing this realtor on my IG and FB feed. She changing peoples lives by helping them achieve homeownership. I was moved by her and wanted to reach out for help but made no moves.

In 2019 I finally contacted @greenrealestatemom about homeownership and how to get started. I went to her 1st time homebuyer seminars and counseling for knowledge about this whole process.

Mid 2019 I hit the lowest point in my life…that ish broke me DOWN. We moved from our apartment of 7yrs in Montgomery County back to my homegrown roots in Logan. I questioned myself and most importantly questioned myself as a mother. After being all cried out and sick and tired of being sick and tired I put my big girl pants on and got to work. Worked with my realtor on restoring my credit, understanding my finances and budgeting.

In 2020 I was FINALLY ready and got my 1st pre-approval to start house hunting but a few weeks later Covid hit and put a halt in my journey. Early 2021 I got back on board, reapplied for another pre-approval and started my search. I saw so many homes and put offers in but was always outbid. I saw a home during the spring put my offer in and it was accepted!!

After 3 inspections🤬 for the seller to get it right -never did and had to start all over again.

Then my BFF @only1me984 sent me THIS house one morning and I loved it! I immediately contacted my realtor for a showing that day. Saw it in October, loved it, put my offer in and today after almost 3yrs of learning, patience and anxiety, lots of tears and my flaring temper I can finally say I AM A HOMEOWNER 🙌🏾🔑🏡
